I don't believe there is a "None" option in the parenting menu.

Change the parent to Universe (same as None).

Sorry. ^That. I was confusing the parenting box with the conforming figure drop down.

No problem, I'm sure.  I pulled up Poser just to make sure I wasn't missing that "None" option though.  LOL!
