Some things I cannot answer directly.  But as vague as it sounds and I apologize for that, I DO hear your frustration and as I said it is something I share.  I truly believe that letting these things be known on this public forum is a good thing.  Sometimes people with good intentions can't honestly see the forest for the trees and they need to be pointed out.  I could be naive, most likely, but I will give those in the know the benefit of a doubt on some things.  And perhaps, as I haven't built a decent web-page since Claris Home Page and Netscape ... things are more complicated than we are aware of.  Please no attacks.  I'm just adding my view and attempting to be a diplomat in the process. 

If something I said sounded like an attack, it certainly wasn't meant that way. It's was simply meant as an explanation that even the same browser can behave differently on different setups.

And, as I said, for me browser security is my highest priority.  If that comes at the cost of easier site navigation, that's a decision I've made.
