I've been visiting a lot of message boards and forums, starting somewhere around 1999... Yet, I haven't encountered any forum software yet that was so limited, buggy, and/or messed up like this one. --- --- Why not have a look at what other, professional, web sites use as their forum software, and then choose the one most successful? --- --- This current software is obviously utter crap, or utterly bad handled; I suppose the first. --- --- So instead of trudging along miserably, and alienating even more users, why not make a clean cut: dump the current software, and introduce something really useful, which will make the users happy again? --- --- I won't propagate any particular forum software here, because it could be mistaken as "advertising". But we all do know which forums are liked because of the software they use... Why trying to make a difference just because of a different appearance (a.k.a. "Corporate Identity" - even if this implies "'R'osity = Unuseable forum!") --- --- My voice (as a newb) surely doesn't play any role compared to the posts of BB, Snarly, etc. - but heck - if even THEY are frustrated, with all of their expierience, then I'd come to the conclusion that something is really really wrong here. ------ So, as a newb, I would consider to move on to a different forum. --- --- --- --- (Pardon the --- --- , but it's my only way left to structure my posts, since this forum won't accept neither paragraphs nor blank lines (FireFox on an XP64Pro machine)
