On the IE issue. If you look at the source code for the page, you will see an IE flag.

Applications should not rely on X-UA-Compatible to be an excuse to avoid....
There is is in a nutshell folks.... I'm using Chrome and the server sent me a Internet Explorer compatibility setting........
Guess it is more than an IE issue.......
