Adding to my post, above:
Do not automatically subscribe to threads in which you have created a reply. (If this is a toggled feature, I don't know how to untoggle it. :) )
The reply window should filter out unprinted text commands, like line-feeds and page-breaks. Currently, they are still being detected and included when pasting from certain formats. ie:
