I don't know 'bout yer reverting problem, but parenting can also be done in the Heirarchy Editor (Window menu > Heirarchy Editor)

Right. Been doing it that way since version 4 and has always been the best for me. That is unless you have a whole mess of figures in the stage and if those figures are parented or conforming figures etc it gets fuzzy stressful finding stuff. So I would say learning a few ways of doing this is smart.

oh and BTW technically, Ketchup would not be a vegetable but a fruit since it is made from tomatoes and they are considered fruits (at least in Europe).   LOL
