Since almost every physical shader I've ever made uses alt_diffuse and mine are the most physically correct shaders available for Poser, and they don't glow (i.e. emit more light than arrives), yes, what you said is disinformation.
The EZ skin shader was originally constructed by me and published in a series of extensive explanatory articles at runtimedna. Perhaps you would enjoy reading them to see how the shader works?
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
