SM's Gen 2 figure or DAZ Genisis 2 figure? Dynamic hair and cloth can be used on both.

Bullet or legacy collision type? Makes a difference as to what the hair collides with or not.

Skull cap or directly grown on head? For DAZ G1/G2 I use a cap. For SM stuff I usually grow straight from the head.

Most importantly are your SRs up to date?  P10/PP2014 had issues with some of the SRs breaking things. The latest 5.2 seems to have everything working as it should.
