My grandson (he's 2 yrs. old) is a dinosaur freak. Especially the T-Rex. I thought I would make some pictures for his room, so I got Bryce5 and Poser4, on the advice of a friend. This is my first pic and would like some advice. The T-rex is from DAZ and the raptors are from Poser4. I changed the mouth and areas to make them stand out more than usual. Looks weird but the boy likes it. Any comments would help, good or bad. Thanks.

hey, it looks nice, especially for a first pict. the only thing i would do is to make a better texture map for the raptors, maybe some scales? i like to go into the procedural texture editor in bryce and then click on the "combination" window. this will rip the texture to the screen, there you can press alt+Prinscrn this will copy it to the clipboard. save it in a program like photoshop and crop the parts you want. then just go find your texture map for it (probably in poser/runtime/textures) and paste it down over the colored parts of the picture. make sure to save a backup though if you mess up. after your finished, recolor it and render it. you can even use different color schemes for different raptors (i.e. different spots). sorry for the long reply, email me at mmattb@yahoo.com if you need anymore help.

I like the poses... the ground seems too "busy"... You might try a less complicated texture there to focus on the "action" more and the ground less... It's great seeing someone doing this kind of stuff for a grandson!

Hey thanks, mmattb and chanson. I'll start working on more textures for the raptors. Your right chanson, about the ground. What I used just seemed to go with the moutain texture so well. I will post this pict again with the adjustments you folks have suggested. Thanks again.
