Okay, good news, bad news. I got it working.  Not quite sure how, but I suspect it may have something to do with my bad news. My computer's hard drive death is probably iminent. I can run the cloth sim now with no problem, but  when I get to a final render Poser crashes on me. Something that rarely ever happened before all this craziness began. Anyway, I no longer need anyone to test the dress for me, but thanks if you were about to volunteer.
