I've always been baffled why there is way to save/inject scales in Poser...

The values can be edited into a Pose file. And, most aggravatingly, custom settings in a figure can be completely erased by a generically constructed Pose file... Many Pose freebies can end up resetting both scale options and morphform options, which are generally scale/deformer settings, IIRC, which is why they export to object horribly.
I do wish creating Poses in Poser was a lot easier, though. The options are just too darn basic and sometimes confusing. I guess knowledge is power, here, and, as a result, good complex Poses are really only created by those well-versed in Poser lore. :)
