That might surprise you, but I don't care about Genesis functionality in Carrara.

I want Carrara and Daz Studio to be two very distinguishable products in all their functionalities, because If they were two exactly similar products, then one of them would become redundant.

I don't want Carrara to compete with 3DSMax or Maya or Houdini or Blender or C4D or Modo or Lightwave.

All I want is for Carrara to offer native Poser content compatibility, and a feature set comparable to this $99 app: Cheetah 3D

Doc, I don't want Carrara to "Compete" with 3DSMax or Maya either.  Carrara already offers Poser compatibility.

You may have noticed a lot of vendors at the Daz marketplace are beginning to release models in the DUF format. Even Stonemason's newest release didn't offer a Poser version (just threw in a few OBJs and they don't work right)

More is being released for Genesis daily and that is beginning to spread to the Rendo marketplace.

As a professional user, I don't look forward to being left behind.
