What exactly is a SIT file?

A Stuffit file, a compression format similar to Zip, but unique to macintosh computers. I believe theres a PC-stuffit utility out there somewhere.

There are many ways of packing a suitcase. Alladin's "Stuffit" will pack and unpack in a variety of formats, and it is much friendlier than Winzip. Carolly
