V4 was probably the last great character created for use on both DS and Poser, so got a LOT of love (although poor Michael missed out... there are maybe 100 items for V4 per item for M4). I still use her as the main character because of the range of figures you can create. Not just the morphs++ and elite, but the DieTrying morphs, the Morphia morphs give a lot more scope to explore. I'm not that impressed with the Genesis characters; they seem to have 'improved' the bending by making the joints more rubbery (like latex dolls... and with skins to match). Essentially the new products are not able to replace V4 so still only get used as occasional variant figures in a scene.
