I should of added a 'why' to my selection of favorite vendors. In most cases it is value for money or flexibility.
3-d-c for example almost always adds extra texture sets and poses to the scenes, if not the poses are often available free. The items are also, not only stand alone, but part of a set that is themed allowing renders to follow a path, such as a series of renders at different locations on a spacecraft. There are scenes can be presented in a manner to imply and vast city or complex. All of this at a very reasonable prices.
Applejack I like because the textures and lighting supplied with the items are wonderful. I do play with the lighting and even some of the textures but it is so good to see a scene render so well straight from the box, it really makes you want to play.
DryJack, well the models are so detailed and as much of it is of the Great Western Railway (GWR) so it brings back childhood memories. Not only that but GWR was born in the town where I live.
I also left Fugazi1968 whose tutorials I find so informative and easy to follow, and I can't mention Fugazi1968 without mentioning Ironman13, not only for the tutorials but also the locations. Once again the locations are well textured and there are usually matching poses. The couple poses save me masses of time, even if I am only using them as a starting point.
Of course there is Snarly and Bagginsbill who I don't really class as vendors as they give so much to the community for free, so closer to being hero status than vendor.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
