Thanks, airflamesred!  I'm not "officially" the Coordinator of the 3d Modeling forum yet, only the Blender forum.  However, the newly assigned privileges do allow me to move or modify threads here and in other forums as well, which I took the liberty to do.  The threads I moved were totally unrelated to the topic, and likely only posted as advertisements for the software offered in the reply links.  I'll keep an eye on this forum too, even though it's not in my official duties yet.
