But she becomes a friend later on. And in one storyline, remember the best friend was with him the night of the explosion? He was also affected by the particle and was secretly doing a lot of stuff behind the scenes because of jealousy and feeling that John's approach to life was a little too lax. But I still have to work all that out. Green Lightning has been on the shelf for quite awhile and I have a lot of dust to wipe off.
