Giana, I started in P6 myself.  When we first got computers for entering incident reports at the fire department, I was surfing one evening and saw an ad for P6.  I was intrigued at the idea:  being able to do 3D on my own computer!  I bought my first PC, and Poser 6.  I crashed and burned a lot before someone in the PhotoBucket forum pointed me to 3D forums.

     If you upgrade, I can help with material nodework.  I can help with P6 nodework, for that matter.  But the newer Poser can do special effects tricks that P6 can't do.
