OK, a crash is the application closing without warning. This is a feature request - for, presumably, some way to "scan for known applications". I don't know if that would be practical - I suspect it would, at least, give a UAC pop-up on Windows asking if it was OK for the the Install Manager to modify the computer (even though it isn't going to make any changes, I think it may need that level of access to look for other applications) - but if you open a support ticket and mark it "feature request", then describe how you want the Install Manager to behave I am sure it will be considered (which isn't to say it will be implemented).
