This has started to be a bigger deal lately:

The default gallery and genre when uploading an image is 2D and Abstract. Anyone who doesn't remember to change those automatically uploads their image to 2D. The 2D gallery is filling up fast, and I'm sure it will leave some people mystified as to where their art landed! Any chance of getting this changed to neutral defaults?

UPDATE:

I check the 2D gallery for new art on a regular basis, and I'm seeing all sorts of stuff that doesn't belong in that gallery. One of the ways I "filter" against seeing material I find to be objectionable is that I don't go to galleries where I know I'm going to get my eye put out with somebody's 3D render of women's breasts, or material that portrays women as ... well ... never mind ... I don't need to get into the politics of why I don't like a lot of the work on RR. Since the default gallery is still 2D, I no longer have that filter. And yes, since you decided nudity in thumbnails was okay, I've filtered for the content advisory thumb, which I hate to do. I'm not a prude, just don't want everything "in my face." Some of it is a lot worse than others.

There are a lot of images in the 2D gallery right now that I would have been happy to have never seen, even in thumbnail size, because they would have been posted elsewhere.

Can you PLEASE take away the 2D and Abstract defaults???

Thanks!
Tara
