Hope:
I hope you understand that a lot of us artists write science fiction to accompany our art work. That requires some scientific notation such as superscripts and subscripts as part of the description text. My most recent posting called 'Elysian Pillars' simply looks terrible because not only can I not create italic text, but what should be superscripts appear as ordinary text. So if I need to scientifically represent the value '10 to the power of 6', it comes out looking like 106 instead of 10 with a raised 6 beside it.
And I'll say this again. It is not a question of the Renderosity site not being able to now display superscripted text or understand the HTML tags that create it - my older postings still look correct and still have the markup tags in them. Renderosity is now deliberately removing the tags from the description field during the upload process. You are effectively editing my work whether you realize it or not.

Well, in order to italicise a word, you put this symbol: _ before and after the word or phrase. So, when you try to add language when writing up a description in the gallery, it automatically erases it?
