I've used both Poser and Daz3D for many years but have been spending much more time with Daz3D lately after learning how easy it is to make clothing for the later Genesis lines.  I discovered that it's possible (in Daz3D) to convert Vicky Four's many characters to Genesis 2 and bring along her massive wardrobe.  The results are excellent.  I'd rather cheat on my real world wife (of three decades) than Vicky Four and wouldn't have dreamed of leaving her.  Now I don't have to.

No requiem for Vicky Four....rather a reprise!

Yep. V4 lives on through Genesis tech. Basically most of us in DS still use a lot of V4's content, just on a newer figure platform. My actual V4 can't touch my G2F version of her because she has the advantage of using new content as well. Altogether, that is a crap load of content. I give the new generation shapes V4's content, and I give V4 the new generations content. It's a Win Win in my book:) However her ride might end with G3, unless we create some more content converters.

THIS^ Yeah, my Gen 3 has every char since V3, and I'm able to use virtually any and every article of clothing without having the need for the nickel dime-ing WW or some other 3rd party program, plus I create morphs and clothes for myself, and the ancient relic that is V4 reduces any creativity with tedious per-body part morphs from zbrush, text editing CR2s and dull re-bones one-by-one, so yeah, I for one am glad they progressed beyond that time-consuming process because you could either take the whole day to go through endless tedium, or you could actually sculpt to your heart's content without any restriction or limits in zbrush, import it back, and simply right click to context menu it into completion!

The past should stay in the past and used only as instructions of how to be of better use for those in the future...And not the other way around...
