Autodesk had a free FBX Converter program which I used a couple of years ago to convert Collada to FBX. If I recall correctly, there were different versions of FBX output available to choose from (differentiated by year).

I was using it for trying to get DAZ figures into an older version of Iclone so I can't comment on its effectiveness for Poser.
