I use this host-file as well for blocking ads: http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm
This way your computer doesnt connect to the internet at all for the hosts listed there. A quite effective way of blocking ads. Maybe this makes browsing Renderosity quite fast for me.
Thanks for the link to this, it always faster and more effective when anything like this is resident on the Computer and not just the Browser stopping it before it even starts. Need to investigate it some first, one thing I have questions on is the flexibility of it, Extensions like Adblock and Ghostery etc, you can Whitelist certain sites turning the extension off for them, handy because some sites just won't work correctly with the extensions. I'm going to try it anyway, see how it works may just be the way to go, thank you for the clue-in Honzu.
