I don't mind a dial home to activate/register as long as it's reasonable -- as in just once when it's installed or if your machine dies and you need to put it on a new one. Also if there's a way to activate for people whose systems are never online. I only hope they don't go crazy and hop on the DRM/encryption/cloud bandwagon like others have done and are doing, otherwise I'm looking forward to it.
