Xatren ,Poser 4 days ,well you missed the most violent days of the civil war that started with the release of V5. V5 tech couldn't work in Poser with out DAZ genesis code. DAZ n Poser tech grew in separate ways. Eventually they made DSON for V5,V6 there's mixed opinions about DSON.

V7 is not for Poser at all not even with DSON. V7 is for DAX Studio and to export her n animations to game engines DAZ has Morph 3D.com now ,it's a game site. And highend app's.

DAZ divided in to DAZ and HiveWire3D.DAZ is no longer a Poser vender.HiveWire3D is a Poser Vender.

V4 still has a lot of content. Dawn is a newer character but making her mark slowly. and there are some cool third party render engines also. Reality3D ,Oxtang Realtime Render Engine.

I like the 100's of year old sayings the best cause they have proven to be the wisest. "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" So I don't depend on one vender,character,software etc etc. There's no rule saying we can't play with them all :)
