It is a shame to see anyone go but if whatever you are doing is not meeting your needs, stop doing it.

I have recently deleted my library, which was also around ten years old, but that was due to the changes and the heavy use of the galleries for advertising by Rendo. I know they need to pay for the site but the advertising was overpowering the gallery in my view.

In my case I only ever really posted for two reasons, one was to show others how I was using products purchased here, and the second was that I was getting so many ideas from other peoples work I thought I ought to have some input. I did get some good comments and also useful criticism along the way which a was grateful on every occasion. As I have stopped spending here the first reason for me having a gallery is gone and, like the rest of the site, it is now so difficult to use I wonder why anyone would make the effort to look in the galleries anyway.

For all that still think it is sad when someone gives up and it surprises me that Rendo do not see that the more galleries there are, the more people will look and driving traffic to your site would seem a plus to me. The whole reason I got into this hobby at all was looking at gallery images and being amazed at what was possible, since then I have spent thousands of dollars.

The deletion of my gallery will be no loss to anyone but I know from thread like this that I am not alone and the wider picture is another negative for the 3D art community, as are all the people who have closed their account here or just do not visit as much.

I wish everyone a great 2016, even the Rendo team and I really do hope they improve on 2015 as they have not had a good year in my view.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
