i stopped looking at gallery cuz those jumbo adverts were too distracting.
That was the reason I stopped looking and also the reason I deleted my own gallery.
I did get some constructive criticism on some of the images in my gallery but by far the most help I got was via the forums. In some cases I submitted an image but in most cases it was just a comment relating to what I wanted to do and there was always a good response to my questions and those of others. There were always the odd "dump Poser and use Daz" type responses but on the whole it was very positive. Over time the same names kept appearing and those people moved my skill set on quite considerably. Sadly many of those names do not post here anymore or if they do, they do so on a much reduced basis thanks to the ongoing problems with the site. No doubt 2016 will bring yet another upgrade and yet another set of problems.
I do miss many that were helpful but still use much of the information they were happy to share everyday. What saddens me most is that such help is slowly being lost to new comers and the community in general and it gets worse each time someone leaves or, maybe to a lesser degree, deletes a gallery.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
