I would add that sometimes unsubscribe + resubscribe does not get me one more e-bot.

I had an impression that I may occasionally not have received an ebot even after toggling my subscription, but I couldn't be 100% certain that I'd really remembered to do it. Even when the forum worked, the ebots sometimes went on holiday, after all.
