Thanks for all the comments, folks. We also recently added the "Artist of the Month."

In terms of community, we have 'featured galleries,' 'tutorials' and 'featured news.' We have 'exclusive products' for Renderosity exclusive vendors as well as 'what's hot,' which is a nice touch for the vendors! We wanted the front page to seem more like an artist page and so, we went with bigger and clearer images.
