would it be possible to post this thread in the right forum. Here it's the Bryce Forum not the technical computer one. If you don't know how to used FDISK, don't use it. And if you were told that to reformat your C Drive there is a good chance your registry are pretty mess up. Doing a recovery with the CD is a good solution. But first it's always good to scan for virus, check with something like norton utilities like thgeisel said. Pleiades
