But why would you want a monitor of that resolution, unless you have very sharp eyes to see the detail (in which case the text shouldn't be such an issue)? I know high-res displays are a big thing, but to my poor battered eyes they seem rather pointless (except perhaps for plain black-on-white text in a page-layout application, perhaps).
