@PoisinIvy - it takes a lot of time to produce these animations, as you know, and a lot of different things involved in creating them. Not just DS or Poser, but sound design, compositing, color correction, and editing to bring all this together into a finished animation.
Most of my episodes run about 10-15 minutes and it usually takes about month to complete them including script. voice recording (Soundtrack Pro/Logic X), animating and rendering (DS), compositing and effects/color correction (AE) to final assembly (Premier Pro CC 2014) for editing/sound design. It's a lot of work, but a labor of love for me. I now have 3 different shows I run every 1-1/2 to 2 months, alternating with episodes of "SpaceCat", "Secret Agent Cat" and "The Tales of the Pancreatic Duck" and have recently started a new show, a "FatCatAlley Minute" an animated talk show, as well.
Oh yeah, and all this while doing my "Day Job" (web designer/mograph/video production). It really keeps me on my toes!
