Thank you everyone for providing me with your concerns.
We're always here to listen and always take them into consideration. I care about the community as a whole and want nothing more than to grow the community.
Here is the thing though, since I've come into this role - in June- my goal was to get the mods/coords to police the forums. It seems the past CM didn't require them to do that, so it's NOT their fault. They were doing what they were asked of. However, now, I'm changing things by making sure the coords/mods pay closer attention to the forums and the bad behavior. They WILL warn, ban and lock any thread that gets chaotic. I DO NOT want the community to get out of hand - like it had been in the past.
We're turning a new leaf and I need you guys to help me in supporting that. I've gotten support from a few of you, but I'm going to need it from ALL OF YOU. At the end of the day, I want nothing more than the community to lead a hand when needed, show support and appreciate one another. So, please help me doing that!
Thank you ALL!
I think most users understand that it was not the moderators that were at fault and it is an extremely difficult job to do. Likewise I doubt few of the Prime members, upset by the changes thought it was the fault of those at the sharp end, more that they had to try and take the company line. There were a few response that could have been worded better but it must have been hard to stay cool and collected when there was so much animosity about at the time.
I am not doubting your intent but changes to the forums have been promised before, and the site for that matter, and what changes did occur lasted less than a week. Despite this I will follow the forums a little more closely to see evidence of a change, up until now it has been a case of words are cheap.
As always I wish you the best and hope you win out.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
