Unless it is a Python script it should work in any Poser version. The Poser 4 renderer was kept through Poser 7 (although Poser 7 doesn't run in Windows 7).

You would certainly need to install it outside of the C:\Program Files hierarchy, as UAC would prevent you from installing content into its runtime folder...
