Subject: Possible to install and launch Poser 5 in Windows 10?

Yes. It uses Python. It is called "Particles" -- not Ron's Particles. I bought it from DAZ but as far as I can tell was never updated. I've looked at the code but even though I understand Python somewhat, I really can't hope to update it in any kind of reasonable time frame. It does not seem to even be for sale any more, not even this old version. There's another product, also, that is also a script-based product that only works for Poser 5 that I kinda like, but Particles is the one I didn't want to lose.

I installed it outside the Program Files hierarchy, but as I said, it won't launch.

I guess my only option is probably to try to install an old version of Windows and Poser 5 inside a virtual machine ... if I decide to go to the trouble.
