I'd believe it. I reported the ebot problem eight months ago, and I'm sure it had been going on for some time before that, so it could well be approaching its first anniversary. That's more than enough time for Rendo to have taken a bright youngster off the street and trained them from scratch how to code a website.

As long as we continue to post drivel, the ebots will continue. My apologies to anybody who had received one and expected an actual Japanese freebie. :( (Oh, that's sinister - there isn't a single emoticon available to convey a negative emotion.)

So, based on Renderosity's latest rules restricting links to off-site freebies, regardless of whether the blogsites or websites are commercial competitors or not, please be prepared for imminent removal of all freebie links here, and possible locking of the threads.

Personally, I am not worried because I have followed the Japanese freebie creators using Inoreader, Feedly and changedetection. So I personally will get their freebie updates that way. Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to share the updates with the Community here, in order to conform to the new posting rules.

Happy hunting for More Japanese Freebies in the future.

For many years the generosity of those who make freebies has been the heart of the Poser community. In fact in the early days it's probably what built up the community. Not everyone can afford to spend huge amounts on this hobby. Does Renderosity think that most of those Japanese freebie creators are seriously going to post their things here. Off to D*Z then I guess.

No need to compile. Just save the page as "full site" or something like that on each page (as opposed to HTML or Text Only) and you'll have the entire thread and its links saved.

Firefox, not sure about others, though I'm using like-- Firefox 29 or 30, really ancient. Under File - > save page as.

Though in most if not all non-mobile browsers you can also right click - > save page as.

Actually, one can use the Print button at the top to print the thread to a .pdf in Firefox or Chrome;I'd forgotten about that...

Perhaps what one could do would be to make a general reference to an easily googled link site, such as "Morphography Links". In the individual threads like this one, it would just say, check our MNE on Morphography Links (or some place else), they have a new XY. If there are links missing on an open linkpage like that, they could be added there?
