I just picked up a 4GB nVidia GTX 960 card for $200, and it made a huge difference in Superfly (I had a Radeon card before, which didn't contribute to Superfly, obviously). I have a 500W power supply on an AMD Phenom II X6 system, it seems adequately powered (the card draws 128 watts), although if I make my bucket size bigger than 128, the render sometimes fails, but it may be lack of memory ; 4GB isn't a lot for a big scene. The biggest scene I've rendered thus far contained 2 fully clothed Genesis 2 figures in a furnished room.

I can't Link to it 😡 , but it's an EVGA GeForce GTX 960 04G-P4-1962-KR 4GB SC GAMING with the stable Drivers from the nVidia site.. I got it at NewEgg...

PS; I should add that nicely accommodates my analog secondary monitor... 😄

Hi there

I'm surprised its crashing on yours when you render,if its possible can you post yours render settings there ?

And do you have enabled Branched Path Tracing,if yes please disable this, this can make render to crash and if you have enabled Subdiv(I usually set Subdivision at 1 with Genesis) plus maps etc this can take lots of VRAM,i would export Genesis as OBJ and export them again to Poser and if you missing SSS then you can apply on them too SSS via EZSkin there too

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura
