The official word is that Poser sales are still strong. Poser isn't in immediate danger. What does seem evident is that the various Poser marketplaces are having a harder time getting people to buy their stuff. Part of that is probably the flight of part of the Poser user base to D|S, but there may be other factors. Among them, the fact that recent Poser versions make it easier to convert existing content between figures.
I think maybe the people for whom Poser was all about buying stuff, always chasing the newest thing, have been disproportionately drawn away to Daz and D|S. There are plenty of Poser users remaining, but we're not the shoppers that those others are. Or something.
