I owned carrara before they sold to daz. They had an active development forum. There was someone there called charles who frequently posted about issues with carrara, and then the issues got fixed. We communicated with the programers and it was great. The program constantly improved rapidly until daz took it over. Then it seemed to stop, then slowly did a few new things but very very little compared to previously. The renderer was very good. Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
