I remember when we had what was called med range app's there was truespace ,Cararra ,something soft ,not softimage. then LW dropped there price and the 3D wars started and the med range app's faded a way. Now there's Blender and Houdini n you can get LW at a low price also so ... I still model in the 12 year old C4D Basic 9 ,Don't fix it if it ant broke ;)

Vue didn't do Bryce no favors.

In the CGI universe DAZ Poser are plugs for main app's so DAZ could never have a monopoly on CGI .If Autodesk had a indie license they might monopolize CGI.
