Don't know if I can comment without giving things away but my personal gripe with this - and so many other movies - is why the makers feel entitled to screw around with the characters. I'm all for a darker take on the comic heroes (I loved Nolan's take on Batman) but there are some things which should not ever be changed. Even Nolan respected the canon Batman does not kill and does not ever use guns. Batman has a very deep seated dislike for guns and murderers. True, in his first incarnation he did kill baddies but as time went by and the character developed, a central part of his being has been a strict no guns and no killing policy. One notable exception was Darkseid and we all know how that ended up. :)
As for Superman, well I kinda gave up on the idea of a movie Supes after Man of Steel. And the movie version of his logo is pure shite, too. Once again, why bother?
The new movie? I give it minus several million out of 10.
