I am in a similar position in that I do not want to jump through hoops to get a figure to work in Poser or try and re-invent the wheel by swapping programs. Having said that my spending on V4 was dropping anyway as I have a vast wardrobe of items for V4. More recently I have used Dawn a lot more, particularly after the release of Dawn SE, and that has resulted in me using dynamic clothing far more and there was never much for V4 as far as dynamics is concerned.
I do still use V4 and occasionally buy items for her as they are easily converted to use with Dawn as well but I also accept the market for V4 (and Dawn) is a much smaller market than that for Genesis. You really can't blame the vendors for following the money, as they will when Genesis 4 and Genesis 5 hits the market, it is just I am not playing that game. I am happy with what I have and the occasional new products and opportunities that open up. For example I never dreamed I would do so many renders using horses but that all changed when, instead of buying yet another V4 outfit I purchased the Hivewire horse instead.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
