Thanks RorrKonn. Are you familiar with Manga Studio? It's similar to photoshop but designed more for drawing comics. You can "pencil" and ink in it.

My plan was to use the skeletons or the skeletons viewed through skin to model my scenes. Import those 2D renders then draw my comic over them.

I saw it the same way you did.. it seemed like it would take too long to do the comic using just 3D models.

But, after seeing the Xnalara thing I am wondering if it might allow me to do it in 3D models...maybe I could do a cel shader effect and draw the background?

What do you think? Do you know if Xnalara would reduce the workload enough to allow this? Or is it as time consuming as the other models?
