Bryce for Windows will not import .3dmf files, this is the mac version of .3dmf and won't work (something about binary vs. ascii I think). Polytrans will do it, and that's the only app that I've found that works on PC. Polytrans is about $400. Try the downloadable demo version (the demo deletes every fifth polygon when converting files.)
