Carrara modeling is not for everyone. That is why Eovia brought in Amapi 7, back in the day. And Hexagon would later come from Amapi. 3D modeling in Hexagon comes more naturally for some artists. Programs like modo have made that simple modeling style much more complicated at the other end of the spectrum. Carrara and 3DCrafter are at one end, while modo and Lightwave are at the other. Simple 3D modelers like Hexagon and Silo are in the middle of the spectrum. 3D-Coat is closer to modo than it is to Carrara.
