The best answer I've seen to this question was offered maybe 15 years ago now, by former Rosity member Allerleirauh (pretty sure I spelled that right). She said she had become so immersed in 3D graphics work that when she found herself in line at the grocery she wanted to photograph her fellow shoppers' elbows, for use in skin texture creation. Lemme tellya, that really impressed me. If you're so lost in Posering that people become just texture source material, you've really gone deep.
My own best answer is about the time I was using Poser, maybe back in 2007 or 2008? Umm. I was Posering, and I decided to take off my shoes. But I got a knot in my shoelaces, while trying to remove the second shoe. And my first impulse was to reach for the mouse, to click the Undo button. I actually reached for, but did not grab, that mouse. So maybe you know you're a Poser addict when you try to untie a shoelace knot using Undo. This isn't an altogether satisfying response, to me, because it really works with any number of software packages, and isn't Poser-specific.
I suppose I can generalize from these two responses, to say, "You know you're a Poser addict when you begin to lose touch with reality." Umm.
Okay, third edit. Boni's initial post actually said almost the same thing as the Allerleirauh anecdote, and sort of scoops my generalization. So I'm left with the lame shoelace thing. Dangit, dangit.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
