By nature splitting the site and in turn the spin off facebook pages into directly competing platform themes is the opposite of unification of the community. It's a reinforcement of the splintered and tribal culture that has resulted from the polarising forum setup here.
A more unified approach imo for facebook would be a setup for example like:
Renderosity 3D Art Gallery
Renderosity 3D Mechanics Workshop
Renderosity Writers Guild
Renderosity Photography Studio
Renderosity Tutorials
etc
By categorising by genre or field rather than by platform you would see a more manageable setup staff administration wise and it would actually be more of a unifying influence across the entire community. Segregation of like groups rarely leads to an overall unified outlook across those groups. It tends to just build rivalry between the designated factions. Especially when some are left without a categorisation.
