Thank you, Preston.... in the meantime, my friend had removed her cc from paypal, and today entered a new one to make a purchase and it went through fine, in us $.... very mysterious happening....another friend suggested checking on the original cc, that IT may have been hacked so she's following up. (She had also done a thorough scan of her machine and it was clean.)
