Subject: Is there any advantage in using a normal map for Poser?

If using the PoserSurface root node, plug into the gradient_bump socket and set the mode to tangent space normal map.

The PhysicalSurface root node has a socket dedicated to normal map.

For the CyclesSurface root node, use a normal map node and a mix node.
